OS Forgings has successfully completed the production of a big heavy-weight forged disc for a European customer. The forged disc features a unit weight of 16 tons, with dimensions of 2561 mm in diameter and 385 mm in height.

The material grade is P305GH according to EN 10222-2, with impact testing at -40°C achieving a minimum of 180J after simulated PWHT. The successful production of this heavy forging once again demonstrates OS Forgings’ strong capabilities in manufacturing large-scale high-performance forged components in compliance with strict European standards.
